Tarot

For my second year Sequential Illustration project I decided to look into the power of Tarot Cards, what people think of them, whether they are used as frequent today as they used to be, ect. I took each card and interpreted it in a way that would fit in with modern day society making sure I use a protagonist in each image to portray my ideas for me. For example, The Sun card which means; Fun, warmth, success, positivity, vitality. However, once flipped it takes on a whole different meaning of; Temporary depression, lack of success. I drew my Protagonist sitting in an arm chair reading the Sun Newspaper.
